Kabul Kabul is located between Latitude 34-31' North and Longitude 69-12' East at an altitude of 1800 m (6000 feet) above sea level, which makes it  one of the world's highest capital  cities. Kabul is strategically situated in a valley surrounded by high mountains at crossroads of north-south and east-west trade routes.
