The tourism industry of Afghanistan , developed with government help in the early 1970s, has been negligible since 1979 due to internal political instability . A passport and visa are required for entrance into Afghanistan. In 1999, the UN estimated the daily cost of staying in Kabul at $70 USD . Approximately 61% of these costs were estimated to be the price of a room in a guesthouse. It also has a high rate for hotels. Travel was highly restricted in the country due to the US-led campaign against the Taliban and al-Qaeda . Afghan embassies issue between 15,000 and 20,000 tourist visas annually.In 2014, bookings for adventure trips were doubled in Afghanistan.

Policy for Tourist in Afghanistan NBOUND TOURISTS CONTINUES TO GROW The number of inbound tourists continued to grow in 2013 as the situation in Afghanistan improved marginally with no large-scale attacks. As the country is struggling to rebuild the war stricken streets and clear rubble, foreign expertise are invited into the country. Neighbouring countries have also noted Afghanistan with its stunning scenery and for those who are willing to risk entering the country have contributed to travel and tourism. A few asylum seekers from Afghanistan are also returning to their homeland. FOREIGN EXPERTISE NEEDED As Afghanistan tries to rebuild the country, foreign expertise is needed to guide it and also to develop its industries such as agriculture and mining. Kabul Kabul is located between Latitude 34-31' North and Longitude 69-12' East at an altitude of 1800 m (6000 feet) above sea level, which makes it one of the world's highest capital cities. Kabul is strategically situated in a valley surrounded by high mountains at crossroads of north-south and east-west trade routes. She completed the primary education in Abdul Ghaffor Nadeem and intermediate and Lycee periods in Afshar High School within 1978 to 1989. After passing entrance examination she admitted at faculty of literature and English language of Kabul University.
